To share the stuff that makes being a teacher and educator great...the FUN stuff the stuff that engages and connects students to what is being leant and pushes them to want to continue learning in their own individual ways.

Maths - Bar Graphs for Statistics.

We used an app called teaching graphs

to make a simple bar graph this morning. It is a simple to use app that helps you learn about reading and also creating graphs. We surveyed everyone in the class and displayed the results on the Bar Graph. Here is the screen shot of an example graph.

All the students uploaded their own survey results onto their blogs.

I enjoy using teaching graphs on the I pads and all the other cool apps. I think that we have heaps of games on the I pads.hannah
