I started Dictionaries and Dongles as a way to share my classroom work and it has evolved to ideas, thoughts, rants and everything in-between. Mostly it is a place to just share things that I love. To share the stuff that makes being a teacher and educator great...the FUN stuff the stuff that engages and connects students to what is being leant and pushes them to want to continue learning in their own individual ways.

Harlem Shake - Room 8 Style
This is the last week for swimming this term. We decided to have some fun in the water and shoot a couple of movies. Made us laugh a lot so we hope that you get a kick out of them as well.
AWESOME Room 8! Love it. I shared your Harlem Shake video with the teachers at Maunu Primary School and I think they are inspired to make their own Harlem Shake too:-) The teachers there have just started blogging so I have given them the link to your blog so they can check out how you and Mr Soole are sharing your learning. Thanks for being great role models. I look forward to coming in and visiting your classroom to see the cool ways you are learning. Tania
